Climate of Our Future

Have you heard? On July 1, 2007 there is a one hour no power at noon. That means no computers,tv’s,radios anything (non vital). Please for one hour ride your bike, swim, eat a picnic lunch in the park. Tell all your friends to join you. Care about the Climate. Andy Williams is the event creator/coordinator this is what he thought.
“Recently I had an idea for an event that everyone could join in with, that would make us think about climate change and our impact on it. But an event that wouldn’t leave a massive carbon footprint, that isn’t endorsed by big business and doesn’t cost anything to do. I decided to call it One Hour No Power and it’s just that, an hour when we turn everything (non-vital) off and think about ways in which we can personally reduce our impact on climate change in the long term. It’s happening on SUNDAY JULY 1st at MIDDAY, wherever you are in the world. I’ve written some more about it at www.onehournopower.com. and on www.myspace.com/onehournopower .
