I want Interior Secretary investigated. This is Bush, all over again. Why is Salazar any different than Bush's appointments?

??I read in a Popular Science Magazine some time ago that they big shipping lanes are experiemnting with a giant kite that pulls the giant ocean liners along, to save a fortune of fuel to propel these vast ships. That at least might help minimaze the air polution from these vessels in the very long run.

There are products that have been on the market many years which are Environment Friendly and do a better job of soaking up spilled oil and other chemicals they will also hold on to the Absorbed material and not let it leach back out into the environment

??Generations ago, the coal industry used an inhouse process to run the ashes from buring coal into a kind of cheap fiberglass that was made into house insulation batting. That item's been replaced by the pink Owening-Corning thermal insulation, but perhaps they could redo that prcess to cheaply provide the third world with giveaway house insulation, and eliminate a degree of the mega-tons of waste from burning coal, also enscouncing the toxic elements in a ceremic cloth at the same time.

The last thing we need is another source of fossil fuel! Just burning conventional oil, gas, and coal will produce catastrophic climate change.

Well, They had better find a way to extract this Methane ice quickly, because the global warming alrmists are afraid that if global warming makes the earth'soceans several degrees warmer collectiely, it will be a 'tipping point' that will cause ALL of this Methane contained in ice form to become gasous and bubble to the sruface, and fill up our atmosphere with mega-tons of pure Methane, which in itself is a greenhouse gas that retains 20-23 times as much solar heat as carbon dioxide, and make our planet REALLY HOT!!!

A good article, but it's not just gas and oil drilling they should worry about. ANY source of clean water in America is now in danger of being tapped and piped away, including the clear groundwater of this location. In our immediate future, nations might end up fighting wars over water!
