Is this a prototype- or is this IT? I went to the web site and it seems that this is the actual unit, but there is no information on how much laundry can be put into it. I'm guessing that it can handle a few small items- that would mean putting many loads through the unit for every load of laundry washed... Everything old is new again. My Mum had one of these back in the sixties - including the spout for the water that had to be caught in a bowl. (I think later versions had a siphon you could hang over a sink). The best fun was when she would load it unevenly and it would start to vibrate, then bounce around - always moving the spout away from the bowl and flooding the kitchen. Thank you for bringing back happy memories. Oh, and the other device she had was a mangle. You got one of those yet? Unbelievable. Everything old is new again.
