1HALF.org: women saving earth, a message from the 13 indigenous grandmothers and the rest of the women who spoke at Bioneers (as I heard it).
1HALF.org is a conversation between women. Of all ages. Of all colors. Of all races. Women of Earth. By 2050 our global population is reliably predicted to be 9 billion. And there is certain to be extreme suffering, war, a shortage of food and water and extreme loss of nature. It’s becoming clear that it will be women who will change that. Mindful procreation. The simple message of 1HALF.org is that a healthy human population must be of a size suitable to our small planet. And that love for all the children must pervade everything we do. It’s time for all women to unite to save our Earth.
The conversation has started. Among women, grandmothers, mothers and young women.
I’ve always understood that the phrase “my better half” wasn’t a joke.
